A rare sight indeed, a close up of Ardnave Point on Islay from the bridge of a 7016 grt cargo liner. We have just updated the page on the loss of the Rothesay Castle which now includes pictures of the vessel ashore. The pictures were taken in June 1940 when the wreck was visited by representatives of W.H. Arnott Young, ship breakers based in Dalmuir.
